It's all happening at the zoo...

We are so lucky to have such a beautiful zoo in San Antonio...and a yearly membership to enjoy it! Booker is a fan of the fish and the birds. The tank he standing next to below are in the Africa Live exhibit. The giant hippos didn't compare to the tiny, colorful fish swimming around them, according to Booker!








































































Booker also got to meet some goats up close and personal today. What a thrill! Luckly, we've learned how to give a gentle "pat-pat" so no one got hurt.

Peek a Boo at the park and other pics

15 Months!

Ed and Booker spent the whole day over at Grandpa Booker's house the other day. how lucky is this little man to have a 70-something grandpa that will get down on the floor and play!

Booker had his 15 months check up on Tuesday. He weighs a little more than 25 lbs. and measures a little more than 30 inches long. He's in the 25th percentile on both charts...81% in head circumference! Dr. Fitch is so pleased with his growth as are we.

Booker continues to be the most joyful and curious boy! He is very lovey dovey and wants to kiss everybody including our pets and the pictures in his favorite books. He's running at almost full speed, which is frightening! I now understand the need for those animal backpacks with the leash. That may be a purchase in our future!

His favorite foods are turkey sausage, cereal bars and bananas. He can drink from a sippy cup and is working working on a regular cup. He even enjoys the occasional sip of Mom's sparkling lemon water!
