Booker wins 3rd prize!

Dragon-a-go-go

Booker was in his 1st Halloween parade on Friday! It confusing for some of the little guys that everyone was in costume but hey were all so cute! He came home with a bag full of goodies and seemed to enjoy his day.

Last night, we went to Zoo Boo at the San Antonio Zoo for trick or treating. Lots of poeple, lots of lines, lots of fun! And Booker won 3rd place (out of about 20) in the animal Halloween costume contest!

Afterwards, we headed over to a friend's house for some more Halloween fun. Here's Booker with his buddy Arden. She is 9 days younger than Booker and they had a great time. As you can see, Booker decided to ditch the costume but kept the hat. Very stylish!

Halloween sneek peek

Grandma has done it again! We are so excited for treat-or-treating this year as well as Booker's upcoming costumed birthday party. Can you believe that 2 is just around the corner?

A hint of winter weather

Booker was thrilled to be out in the front yard in the chilly 60 degree temperatures the other afternoon. He was a little perplexed by Shiloh, our dog, being in the backyard without him.

Here he is all decked out in new duds for a party Saturday afternoon. Check the new cowboy boots, courtesy of Aunt Nana.

new pics

Busy, sleepy...here are some new shots!

Here is the big boy eating pizza at a birthday party. He loved the pizza but wasn't so sure about the rides...

On the 4th of July, we hung out at "Uncle" Jim's house and someone brought their new puppy. Furry love, a bowl of potato chips in his reach and swimming...heaven! He slept through the fireworks for the 2nd year in a row.

Booker's Greatest Hits

B is a big fan of any kind of music. I love how he gets hooked on tunes from commercials. Here he is dancing to a few of his favorites. BTW, the beep you here towards the end of the first song is the microwave. There isn't a sound around that doesn't just delight him these days!

One Step at a Time

We don't have any stairs inside of our house. We have a steps up to the back porch and these on the front of the house. I knew he could go up the steps with my help but going down has always stumped him. We were out front today waiting for Daddy to return and Booker really wanted to get up these steps by himself. I stood back and watched while he perfected his moves and was thrilled to watch his little mind figuring things out.

Ladies Man

We had the pleasure of attending a 1st birthday party for a coworker's child yesterday. They had a petting zoo with rabbits, chickens, a miniature horse, a pig and pigmy goats! Booker was in heaven. He wanted to pet all of them at the same time.

Booker just about ate his weight in watermelon and also enjoyed his first Sno-cone.

He also spent some of the afternoon fending off the advances of a few little girls at the party! The one shown here knocked him to ground a few times with her hugs!

Tick Tock

Booker's play kitchen has burner knobs that turn on lights and make noise. He hasn't started pretending to cook on it but has found another use...

The cutest bathing suit ever...

We had a nice, relaxing Memorial Day out by the pool at Grandpa Booker's house. The water was a little too cold still despite the 90 degree temperature of the day. Thanks to Aunt Hannah for this unbelievably adorable bathing suit!
