This message is from Alison who cannot access her home computer due to a virus. They are headed for the family reunion today in Louisiana so I am sure she will have some good Booker stories for us when she returns! -Hannah

What happens while Mommy's at work...ends up on the digital camera!

7 month old boy

This boy gets sweeter every minute. When we're around other people, we are always asked: "Is he that happy and calm all the time?" Well, the answer to that is no but for the most part he is a very happy baby.

He is rolling from front to back and back to front but mostly when we're not looking. He smiles all the time but has special affection for Daddy. While taking the photos above, Booker wouldn't look at the camera because the cat was in his eyeline. I got the big grins when Daddy came into the room. And Aunt Hannah can always make him giggle.

He is a terrific eater and is learning to use a Sippy cup. He sits up very well on his own and can sit happily for short stints in a highchair or shopping cart. He loves music and being read to, especially Dr. Seuss.

He is the best part of my day!

It's exhausting being a cute baby boy.

Tonight, Booker had pureed broccoli for the first time. I mixed it up with some carrots and it was a big hit. He seemed too really enjoy his meal. He was almost finished with the contents of the bowl when I decided to get a wet paper towel to wipe his hands and face. When I returned to the highchair, he was passed out! I gently reclined the seat back and he enjoyed an almost 2 hour nap!

He woke up all smiles for dinner with Aunt Hannah, where enjoyed he a piece of frozen cantalope in his mesh feeder. What a great eater this kid is! Thanks to Uncle Reagan for the sweet UNLV Rebels outfit!
