New Hair (updated with pictures)

Booker grew a head full of hair overnight. He did not have this much hair when I put him in his crib last night.

My Little Foodie

Booker loves food. Formula, rice crackers, avocado, bananas...pretty much anything we give him. We introduced the mesh feeder the other night and it's a big hit. It's my goal between now and his 1st birthday to introduce him to as many different flavors and textures as possible. I hope that he will continue this trend and love food as much as I do!

Tiny Shoes

I just love these little sneakers. They were handed down to us but I think I will will keep them forever so I can always remember my little boy striving to be big. Booker can stand on his own for a few moments and will try to move forward if we guide him, holding his hands. I think we're in trouble considering that he's just over 2 feet tall!

Booker's 1st playdate

I was so lucky to have met Kelly, a fellow newbie Mom, and her family (hubby, Dex and Baby Iris) a few months ago at work. Iris is 3 weeks older than Booker and we were anxious to see the two kiddos together. Booker and I were invited over for a playdate this afternoon, which turned into dinner when Dex got home from work. Kelly and I had a terrific time talking about our new families and both babies took a nap. We're already planning baby swaps and possible grown-up nights out with a shared sitter. Woo hoo!

Six Month Old Boy

Oh what to say about my beautiful 6 month old boy! He is very sweet and good natured most of the time...but when he gets mad, watch out! He has a very loud voice which he uses for good and evil. His giggle is my favorite sound in the whole world but he uses it with discretion. We're well into the world of purees, his favorites being bananas, sweet potatoes and peas. He flirts with everyone, including the dog and photos of himself. And even though he sometimes gets cereal stuck to his face and he can't yet speak, I'm convinced that he's smarter than most of the adults I know.
